The steps come from the same .gov-verified rules engine our site uses. Each step cites official government sources. For states we have not finished verifying, the widget routes visitors to the official sources instead of guessing — it never fabricates a rule.

Anywhere it helps newlyweds: a wedding-planning checklist, a registry page, a county-clerk or library resources page, or a blog post about getting married. It is responsive and fits most content columns.
Does it collect my visitors' personal data?
